Some Old School

First up, Taana Gardner with “Work that Body”.  This song has an interesting history. Gardner wasn’t supposed to be on this track, but the original singer was sick the day they recorded and Larry Levan the DJ at the Paradise Garage (A gay club in NYC) knew someone that knew Gardner and this is the result. BTW, the youtube vid, it’s a few minutes short. The version I have in my iTunes library is just short of 8 minutes. Gotta love jams where they threw down and didn’t want to stop at at the 4 minute mark.

Then this one by the Nick Straker Band titled “A Little Bit of Jazz”

Inner Life with “I’m Caught Up (In a One Night Love Affair)”

From the early 1980’s (1983 to be precise) here’s Sinnamon with “I Need You Now”

Sound Factory with “Understand this Groove”

Just a bit of old school music.
