TSA At The ‘Tipping Point’: Passenger Anger At Airport Pat-Downs Threatens To Boil Over

You know TSA is so concerned with the aircraft it is almost as though the terminal or even the entry point to the airport is a secondary concern.

The aim of terrorism is to shake peoples beliefs in their safety thereby having an economic impact on the intended area. So what’s to stop a terrorist bombing the entry point of an airport while people are standing in line waiting to be scanned or frisked? On a good day you might get a couple hundred people that are prime targets.

Yet TSA seems to completely miss this aspect. It’s security theater, nothing more.

  1. OMG that is so true! Why bother blowing a plane out of the sky when they can get the same effect by blowing up the queue to the security checkpoint. The TSA really is a terrible waste of resources, isn’t it.

I would love to spend Wednesday at the airport witnessing the chaos. Too bad I can’t.

  2. Hell, why don’t they just blow up an entire stadium of people at some major sports event? Imagine the entire place going up during the Super Bowl. Tens of thousands of people injured or dead. Wouldn’t that strike fear into the hearts of Amurka?

Now why don’t they go and institute TSA style practices at sports stadiums to prevent such an occurrence? Imagine all of those testosterone laden dudes getting their junk grabbed or being porno-scanned each time they wanted to see their team play. Think of all the riots that would ensue–before the games even started. Heh.

    1. Note: I wasn’t suggesting people actually blow up a stadium. Perhaps I should have said “they could blow up an entire stadium” rather than “why don’t they just blow up an entire stadium”.
