Well – I am disappointed.

First let me say – RI Comic Con and Ticketmaster need to get their shit together. When I get an email that says:

I’m immediately to jump to the conclusion that I have VIP passes. Because they put the word ‘and’ in there. Turns out that wasn’t the case and precisely why I’m taking them to task here on this blog.

None of the celebrities were there – that’s just Saturday and Sunday. All it was was a massive retail thing. If you want to buy overpriced stuff – this is the place to go.

In addition the entirety of the event is poorly organized. For example they scanned my ticket going in, and there were signs everywhere you had to scan out. But I exited through the RI Convention Center. They didn’t scan my ticket or stop me. It’s nice that the two facilities both the Dunkin’ Donuts Center (I still call it the Civic Center) but as a said in the previous paragraph it was mostly vendors hawking shit. Even the one off vendors like Cox Communications, Verizon, a printing company etc.

Next time I go I’ll just buy a ticket for the one day they are doing presentations. Otherwise a 3 day pass really isn’t worth the money.
