Gave the KitchAid Professional 600 it’s first workout this morning

So I made some donut dough. Machine handled a 20 minute mix without moaning or groaning so that’s good.

Only paid $339 for it. I know prior and lower professional models were going for $549. I bought it Amazon so that may have had something to do with it.

The donuts are proofing right now. Then I’ll heat the oil up and fry em’.

  1. I am very interested to hear how they turn out. Having had only store-bought sugar-fried cakes of death, I am keen to know of homemade is better and worthwhile.

    1. They turned out very well. Only problem was they’re huge. I had to use a bagel cutter as nobody around here has donut rings. I took the donut holes, fried them and shook them in sugar and cinnamon.
