So I realized – headed on I-95 South around 6PM – the highway was moving at 75MPH to 80MPH. Gads I love it that way. I wish more people did that.
Then of course coming back I hit 90MPH. In a minivan. And I managed to chirp the tires on the Honda Odyssey. Totally unintentional too which made oh so much sweeter. I had to explain again why that sound amuses me so. When I was 16 I had a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am with a 455 CID engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. Revving it up in 1st gear and dumping the clutch that baby would burn serious rubber. And ever since if I can get a car or truck to make the tires sing all the better.
