Interesting article. The article posits it’s the later age of the moms and the increased use of IVF. I can echo some of this – back when I was in College one professors wife had quads and yes IVF was used. Most of the increase is on the African continent but the same here in the U.S. But in my life I’ve seen more twins and triplets – my Step-mom was a triplet.
But IVF if getting better – now they can implant just one embryo.
The part I find interesting is that IVF is mostly done on older women. People are delaying having children until they can basically afford it.
Just another knock on effect of the shitty economy.
