Interestingly I cooked boiled dinner. If you’re not familiar it is corned beef, four carrots, six potatoes and cabbage. Once again Hubbie had doubts. Do not add salt but powdered garlic and freshly ground black pepper. The process into a pot add the beef and salt pork. Boil that sucker until it reached 180F . Then in go peeled and halved russet potatoes, chunks of peeled carrots a little more black pepper. Go for 15 to 20 minutes of boiling. Oh yeah helps to cover the pot.

Remove the core from the cabbage and cut into quarters. Add to pot now you turn the heat down. Wait 15 to 20 minutes. Et voila you have boiled dinner. To the point where Hubbie complimented me. And got another serving.

Will he ever stop doubting my cooking skills? It was the same with mushroom soup I’d posted about.
