Now last year I recall turning the heating system on toward the beginning of October.
But here we are November 1st and I haven’t turned it on yet. Make do with space heaters occasionally. Wearing a robe, etc. It beats shelling money out to a company I’d like to see broken into a million tiny little pieces.

Same here. We utilize electric space heaters in rooms where we spend time, rather than heating the entire house at this time of year.
